Responsibilities Of Recruited Staff
As mentioned above, recruitment comes with some responsibilities you are expected to embrace fully after being employed. Below, you will see a breakdown of the jobs you will be doing in the various positions available.
Assistant Teacher and Instructor
1. You are required to fully engage in developing the course and study materials for the undergraduate programs.
2. You are required to use new and effective study methods and advanced technology to make learning easy for students.
3. You are needed to provide up-to-date and well-constructed feedback to your students
4. Create and maintain office time for your students and also consultation on academic matters.
Scholarships and Research
This is the second requirements you must take up after being recruited into the job, you need to put effort in making sure you are meeting up with the research and scholarship needs of the students and institution.
1. Take time to research the specific filed you are covering.
2. Publish your well research findings in the provided peer-reviewed academic journals of the institution.
3. Apply and secure grant funds, which will be used for more research and findings.
4. Present your research and new findings at the university conference and seminars
Recruitment Service and Outreach
There are services you must involve yourself in once you are recruited into the university.
1. Involve yourself in the various committees in the university, your department, and your faculty.
2. Participate in development activities at the university
3. Greatly contribute to the community programs that have been designed for the good welfare
4. Supervise and support the development of students’ academic growth.
Needed Qualifications
1. A 1st class or 2nd Upper and Lower BSC degree, a good master’s degree from an institution that has been accredited and must be writhing the required discipline.
2. You should be able to conduct and publish quality research.
3. Have high communication skills
4. You should be able to commit to various equity in the academic system.
5. You need to be experienced in online and hybrid teaching format
6. You need to be able to connect with others in the academic and professional community.
7. You need to be a member of an important professional organization.
