This is to inform those concerned that Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria has started the sale of the Inter-Faculty and Inter-University transfer forms for the academic session of 2024/2025.
This form sale started on Friday, October 25th, 2024, and will end on November 30th, 2024. Those who are interested must get hold of their form before the closure date because there will not be any more after that.

How To Apply For Inter-Faculty Transfer (ABU) Zaria
To apply, carefully follow the steps below and be sure not to skip any steps to avoid making mistakes.
1. Log onto ABU Zaria portal usin: https://portal.abu.edu.ng
2. Once the site is opened, scroll down where you will see “Inter-Faculty”
3. Click on that button and then choose your departments.
4. Now you will promoted to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) only which can be done using your ATM card or by printing the transaction slip for payment in any commercial or microfinance bank in the country.
5. Once that is done, you should proceed to the form portal through https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms
6. There you will be required to pay the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only which can make use of your ATM card or through printing the transaction slip for payment in any commercial or microfinance bank in the country.
Requirements For Inter-Faculty Transfer (ABU) Zaria
Before you make your payments for the transfers, you need to make sure you meet all the requirements of the inter-faulty transfer.
1. Candidates are only eligible for transfer if only they attained consecutive academic sessions without any recorded issues.
2. If you are a direct entry candidate, you must have attended at least one two-semester that is unbroken.
3. Candidate who wishes to participate in the Inter-Faculty transfer must have at least a CGPA of 1.00. Meanwhile for those who want to participate in Inter-University transfer is a must-have at least a 2.40 CGPA.
4. Inter-faculty transfer and University transfer are only available for students in 200 levels and above.
5. Candidates who are interested in the Inter-University Transfer are required to satisfy the university minimum entry that is required for admission.
6. If you have been withdrawn or expelled from the school, you are not eligible for any of the inter-transfer.
7. There is no provision made for those who wish to transfer into the College of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science and Faculty of Law respectively.
8. The transfer programs are directly related to the capacity of the department.
